What type of non venomous pet snakes like humid environments?
I'm planing on setting up a 40gallon terrarium with moss, plants, grass, waterfall etc... i was wonder what non venomous snake would best fit this environment, size in mind,
While the tank would be all right for an arboreal, they are usually very difficult to keep the humdity and temperatures up. Glass is a terrible insulator. I don't keep my amazons in vertically made enclosures, but they do require more height than a terrestrial snake. A rainbow boa would be a good choice though. Males don't get as large as females so that would probably be better for that sized tank.
