What should I feed my 1'6 Rat Snake? He ate a Hopper about a week and a half ago and he won't eat anymore?
He has no disease and is constantly striking at me I know he's hungry
Certain snakes are very easy to overfeed ~ obesity is as unhealthy for snakes as it is for us. Adult snakes can have 1 appropriate sized food item every 7-10 days. (species & age dependent)
