What size rat and how often should i feed my baby albino ball python?
I was just given a baby ball python about 2 days ago as a gift. I'm not sure how small or big of a rat to feed it. She is about 15 inches long (I think). Someone told me to feed her once a week. I think I need to feed her pinkies or tiny rats, but im not sure. help!
Yea, go by the biggest part of her body - probably rat fuzzies or rat pups. Feed her once a week - that is the best for them and puts the least amount of stress on their system.
Make sure you don't handle her after she eats for at least 24 hours (48 might even be better depending on the snake).
