Daylight halogen bulbs? any 10 watt ones?
I just found out about daylight spiral bulbs and replaced the normal CFL in my desk lamp on the side of my heavlily planted aquarium with the daylight one and I was completely stunned at the difference. It looks so much more natural, sicne the kelvin was 6500 as oppsoed to the regular CFL which was around 2500. SO now I want to replace the 2 10 watt halogen bulbs that come with the lighting Fixture with some halogen bulbs that have around 6500 K or are daylight halogen bulbs. The problem is that the fixture says not to use above 10 watts so are there any halogen bulbs that has that high of a kelvin rating and are only 10 watts. (is it dangerous to use ones with a wattage above the maximum fo the fixture ie: how)?

Yes.
Fixtures usually have a maximum wattage rating because of the heat produced from the lamp.
To high a wattage may melt something in the fixture, and you probably don't want to bright a light anyway.
I tend to agree with the other responder. I don't think there is any such thing as a real dayliight halogen. That said, wattage doesn't always relate to heat the same way depending on the design. A florecent tube, for example, has a much higher light to heat ratio than a normal filiment bulb does, and much less than a halogen.
LEDs usually run pretty cool.
