Top fin 50 watt submersible aquarium heater?
i was wondering if this was safe to COMPLETELY submerse in Water, i was so paranoid trying to hook it up bc i didnt want to get shocked. it does not say anywhere on the container it came in if it does or not so i'm a lil erked about it
Yep, go ahead and put it completely under the water. =) I put mine in the middle of the tank, on the back wall, with a suction cup. That way it's in the middle of the tank, and one of my other submersible toys, a powerhead, beside it. That way the heat is circulating constantly.
And--if you buy a couple of plants you can shove them right in front of it....covers up the ugly units quite well, and my plants are thriving with the heater. Double yay!
