what do you feed a little baby black racer snake that is to small to eat anything looks like? pls help.?
I found a small black racer in my basement brought it in would like to keep as a pet but would like to know what to feed it looks to small to eat anything. and where would i find the stuff to feed it?
small frogs
small toads
small lizards
pinkie mice
cicadas
could try crickets
Racers require rather large enclosures....so when it is full grown, you might have to put it in a 60 gallon tank or larger
don't expect it to eat right after being captured.....most snakes require a transition period to settle in their new enclosure and this could last for a few weeks.
