ball python prey
Ball python won't eat!!!!!?

I adopted a ball python, female and approximately 3 years old and she will not eat! She ate live prey before and knowing the dangers associated with feeding live I tried pre-killed and she completely ignored the mouse (I put the mouse into the feed box with long tongs and moved it to imitate life) I also tried frozen thawed and scenting the mouse with any recommendation I could find. Finally after 2 months of no eating I attempted a live mouse which she again ignored. I had her checked, no mouth rot, she's not shedding and the temp/humidity in her tank are where they should be. I'm out of ideas so any help would be appreciated!!

Well, it's one of two problems.
1. You can't just switch food. Once you feed them live, if you try to feed dead, they won't eat. Two months without trying live again-... well the reality is, she might starve to death if this is the problem.
OR...
2. It could possibly be stressed. Have you moved anything around in her tank? Has she been hissing, or acting aggitated? I got an adult male ball, and when I tried moving things around he would'nt eat. It took quite awhile before he'd eat again... he just had to get used to the environment again.
