Should/could I own a Tegu?
I've done my research, I've picked my breed (Argentine Black and White Tegu), and I'm just questioning my experience. I've owned many reptiles in the past. Two full grown Bearded dragons, one for three years and another for one. Crested/Leo geckos, ball python, racer snake, a uro, and am a current owner of a very healthy Columbian Boa, and Indo Blue Tongue Skink.
I have researched the habitat/feeding needed, but would like some extra guidance/advice on the species. I'm a sucessful reptile owner, and I like to think I know what I'm doing.
Am VERY interested in owning one of these lizards, and would like your opinion if I'm getting in over my head or not.
EXPERIENCED answers only, I want reptile owners with experience or sucessful tegu owners. No petco leopard gecko owners. Thanks in advance!
