How long can a corn snake go without eating or drinking?

I'm planning on getting a corn snake soon and my mom just asked me about what would happen to it if we went on vacation for about a month. Would I need someone to come and feed it/ change the Water?

OMG don't let it go a month without eating!

Corn snakes' frequency and amount of food depends on their size and weight. Our bigger-than-average 840-gram male gets fed 2 adult mice every 7-10 days. Our smaller (under 100 grams) ones are fed a fuzzy (baby mouse with fur) or adult every 5 days, again depending on size and weight. The babies are fed pinkies or, if they are problem eaters, pinkie heads. Their water needs to be changed when it gets dirty and their bedding shouldn't be left wet. Also it's better to feed frozen and thawed mice rather than live because a live mouse can hurt them in struggling.

You can order frozen mice online to combat the problem of the pet store running out. Mice are much cheaper online than at the pet store. I just paid $8 for 3 pinkies in an emergency, and that's just ridiculous.

Also you need to keep them in secure containers where they can't escape, with air holes of course. The temperature of their living space also has to be regulated.

I definitely do NOT recommend babies for the first-time owner, and I suggest you borrow a book at the library or buy one, and find some corn snake forums where experts can help you.
