- Kenya has several National parks & Reserves namely, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Samburu, Shaba, Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Chyullu Hills, Wasini Island & Funzi on South Coast of Mombasa, Lamu Island, Malindi, Mfangano & Rusinga on Lake Victoria,Diani (Ukunda), Malindi, Mt Kenya, The Abarderes, Sweetwaters, Treetops ,Kakamega Rain Forests for Birding safaris, Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria,Lake Baringo & Lake Naivasha for flamingoes, just to mention afew and there also exclusive luxury private owned camps..When you visit this areas you will see any kind of geographical features, historic sites,cultural safaris name it but it will depend on what you like and an itinerary will be made for you to meet your desired needs and wants. You can use either road transport or private chartered flights to this areas .For road transport there are Tour Vans, 4 by 4 Landcruisers, Trucks but this will depend with ones budget. When visiting most of these National Parks it is adviceable when going by road transport to use 4by 4 or Trucks due to the poor infrastructure of most of the Kenya roads.With air transport there is scheduled and non-scheduled flights and this will depend with your budget. There are some areas where there are scheduled flights where you purchase a ticket on per seat basis and these flights departs on different times thus the need for your to get a consultant who will tailor-make your itenarary as per your desire to meet the scheduled flights timings.We have some areas where there are no scheduled flights but instead you can use private charter flights either the fixed wing , Jet or helicopter. All you need to do is to have endorsement of this aircrafts on your foreign license,then send your last 4 copies of your Logbook and copies of your pilots license for verifications by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Licensing Department,andd when you arrive pay for endorsement fee and be checked out by the company chief pilot if he/she is satisfied you go Solo and if disatisfied you go with a safety officer.For that reason when you want to do self fly when booking 3 seater you have to be 2 and when booking the 5 seater you have to 4 to avoid last minute ddissappointments with your pal.So why be flown by another pilot when you can do self fly or hire?
