How do I get rid of fruit flies in a house with pets?
This summer my house acquired a Lot of fruit flies and I can't seem to get rid of them. I have thoroughly cleaned the garbage and sink area where they are but they keep appearing. I can't use any harsh chemicals because I have pet cats and rats and I don't want to make them sick. Any advice?
take a glass jar with lid, put about an inch of sweet liquid in bottom, screw on lid, and punch a couple of holes in the top. we used this method at work this year and it made a huge difference in the population
