What causes green to yellow or green to brown shift when first waking?

I noticed that over the past few months, green looks yellow when first waking up and then shifts back to green. The past few nights, the same green now looks brown when I fist wake up and quickly turns back to green. Is something visually wrong with me? Does anyone know what this might be? Thanks.

this could mean two things.
you could be going color blind slowly but surely.
or this could mean that you are a deep sleeper and when you wake up your eyes are adjusting to a certain color in your room.

you might want to see your eye doctor soon before it gets to late.
