What hinges to use on my reptile cage doors?
Im building a reptile cage thats going to be 4 ft long , 2ft high and 3ft wide. Im going to be ordering some glass for the doors that are going on the front. The doors combined will be 3 feet long and 1 ft tall, so each door will be 1.5ft long and 1 ft tall (wood frame included) The wood frame deminsions havent been calculated because i dont know what type of hinge to use. It needs to fully close the doors ( like a cabinent door) so that no insects can escape, and it needs to look good or not visible at all. It would be awsome if u could give a link to a suggested hinge so that i could look at it. Thanks a bunch
You could make the door/doors to swing downwards like this awning type door, the hinges look quite good as well.
