Is it safe/effective to add PS (Phosphitidyl Serine) to my infant's formula? How about purified fish oil?
PS has been tremendously beneficial to my family and myself to assist in mental clarity and plays a role in membrane integrity of the brain. Any advantage to adding small amounts to my infant's formula? Also the DHA and ARA found in formulas now that has been shown to improve eyesight and memory in infants fed breastmilk or fortified formulas (almost every brand has a variety). Would adding small amounts of purified fish oil with EPA/DHA and no extra Vitamin A/E benefit my infant also or could there be digestive issues? Thanks for your advise!
--Human milk contain naturally PS like material in considrable amount
--You shouldn't add PS to your infant formula because you will use adult type which will may give your infant many side effect on stomach, intestine, liver, brain and so
--you may search for infant's formula already contain PS because it will not have side effect on your baby
--You CAN add purified fish oil to your infant formula when he became 6 month for two years
-- You can buy it as capsule "as Neuromins 100mg (tradename)" and you can evacuate the capsule in your infant formula each day
