Where to sell a snake in SoCal?

I have a pet ball python I can no longer take care of, and would like to sell her to get some value for her as well as find her a good home. Craigslist won't let you post live animals, and I have tried local pet stores and posting flyers. Most online reptile sites charge you for being able to post (because they are for breeders, not anyone). Anyone have a good idea, or perhaps is interested yourself? I live in SoCal and would not like to ship her, as I don't know how and wouldn't want to kill her.

Good luck selling your snake. A better idea would be to contact your local herp society and see if they have an adoption program that can work with you to place your pet into another home. A quick Google search should let you know where the closest Herp Society is located in relation to you.

Also, you CAN post on CL in the Pets section - you just can't ask an insane amount for an adoption fee. Most normal ball pythons sell for $20-$50. An adoption fee of that much is quite reasonable and you might be able to place her.
