4x2x2 Outdoor reptile enclosure?
I was wondering if there is any place in the United Sates that manufactures outdoor animal enclosures that are less than 6x6'. I have a tegu (think big moniter) that I want to house outdoors during the day. I need something sturdy (like chain link) because he weighs about 30 pounds and is a curious and powerful guy, and something see-through-able so that he may get natural UVB. My ideal dimensions would be 4'Wx4'Lx2'T. Thank you for your answers!
This could easliy be done and less cost if you try yourself.
I can give you ideas as my husband builds trhem all day.... we have a rescue and rehab and he is my cage builder..
He just finished a tortoise enclosure that is larger than you need. It is chain link fence and then security area all around
Remember however, IF you provide outdoor enclosure you should make it where he can not see past it so make it where from the ground up to like 2 or 3 ft is covered as he will see there is more than his enclosure eventually get the idea he wants to see more and poof he is trying the grand escape.
uvb will come from above so you can make a chai link top as well.
you can make this cage simply. take chain link, attach to the poles or even wood, secure it.,, if i can help please let me know
