Ok, need to know if anyone has any reviews on these 2 aquarium filters I'm looking at..?
Ok, I'm looking at buying a canister filter for my 150 gal. High boy tank. I have angelfish and discus in it in case anyone was wondering. I'm looking at a Penn Plax 1200 canister filter, or an Odyssea CFS4 Aquarium Canister Filter. While searching Ebay, I found the Odyssea filter, I've never heard of it , but it's supposedly pretty good for a canister. I'm just trying to see if there's anyone out there that can tell me if I should give the new one a roll, or, do I stick with the Penn Plax (which I've heard of and is basically the same filter as my current Fluval, wich is dying).
The only reason that I'm thinking of going with the Odyssea is because it supposedly filters the same amount of Water per hour, but it's $30 dollars less than the Penn Plax.
Any help would be much appreciated, and I'll give a best answer response as well.
I agree with Eheim...they are great canister filters. You can also look into wet-dry filters, too. A Lot of people I know who own discus run wet-dry filters instead of canister, especially for a 100+ gallon tank.
