Are there any pet snakes that eat something other than rats or mice?
I'm looking for a pet snake, one that won't grow larger than say 4 or so feet, that can have a diet of something other than the usual rats or mice. Are there any domesticated snakes out there that fit that criteria?

The snake can be small, but I'd like it to be one I can hold and it'll chill on my arms and hands.
Hognose snakes sound like your best bet. They rarely get past 3 ft and they usually have to be trained to eat mice, because their natural diet consists mainly of frogs and toads.
So if you don't mind trading mice and rats for frogs and toads, then I would suggest a hognose.
Any species of Hognose will do well on a diet consisting of toads/frogs.....Western, Mexican, Eastern
