im getting a harley crsted gecko at the reptile expo (ny) im gatiing a 18x18x18 exo terra tank. is that good for 1 adult crestie? nd how much will the crestie cost? how much will the tank cos?. wat decoration can i keep on the floor? nd how much will decorations cost altogether.
the cage is plenty big enough for now as they grow you might wanna invest in a bigger cage (or build one i can send blue prints of the ones i build) price wont be to expensice since its a expo but even at a shop i wouldnt pay more then 45$ and i have crested geckos as well as tokey's, golden's, and leopard geckos, and am waiting on a batch of day geckos to hatch, as far as decorations go, if you stick with a decent size Water bowl, cocanut husk for bedding, hide box and shed box youll be fine, just remeber to calcium dust the crickits and gut load them at least 24 hours before feeding, and you can make a shed box easy just use a small tubb-ware with lid (a couple of inchecs bigger then he/she is) fill it half way with vermiculite (i use this) or moss (i only use it if there prego) keep it moist and you cant go wrong. since cresties are aboreal (they live in trees) try and see if you can find a terrarium thats taller then it is long. if you want blue prints for an aboreal cage i have several that i make.
