DO i need a reptile permits in North carolina?
I am planning on Breeding some tarantulas and some small reptiles in North carolina and would like to sell them at reptile shows or on a website. Does anyone know what kind if any permits or license i may need and how i might acquire them.
If they are indigenous species of NC you have to purchase a possession license (if you have 5+ wild caughts) to have them and a collection license to sell them. Think the website is ncwildlife.org. Go under license and then other license. And venomous species cannot be sold in NC, but they can be owned as far as they are legal. As for the spiders, well your talking to the wrong gal! lol Hope this helps and good luck.
