what do u know about snapping turtle babies?
we have a snapping turtle baby. about 2 inches long w/o the tail.
so, my q is what do they eat and what is the best way to raise them until spring??

A snapping turtle needs to be kept in Water, not just a small bowl of water but at least a 20 gal tank. They will eat minnows and you should go to the store and buy some turtle pellets. It is still warm enough outside to realise it in a pond or lake and will survive though if its something you don't want to keep. Turtles need at least 10 gals of tank water per inch so keep that in mind. You also need to have a good filtation system because turtle deficate alot and they can really stink up the water.
