BABY IGUANA CAGE SIZE !!!HELP!!!?
hello i want to build a cheap cage for baby iguana im getting, and yes i will upsize the cage as he gets bigger.and please spare me the talks about how i should resaerch more and iguanas are hard to take care of because i heard it many times and i am reaady for an iguana.i HAVE had many other reptiles all are healthy.anyways i need to know what i will need and if possible some plans or blue prints.i will use plexiglass for now whil he is young.to keep humidity better.and i cant have it too big right now.
my mom wont let me have a huge one yet,so it has to be big enough that i will only have to make a bigger one like 2 times.
also i need dimensions and size in feet.
theres no problem with money for building bigger ones.
Building a large one for an adult iguana will help w/ less stress for your iguana. Building and moving over and over may cause stress towards your iguana.
There are many plans on the net, and I know on one of your questions about this I gave you links for plans. You can alter them in any way you want to.
55gallon tank will last a year ... if you want to build a 4ft tall x 5ft long x 4ft wide that will last 2-3yrs maybe ... It all depends on if you provide the proper UVB proper heat proper food for your iguana and how fast he/she grows in that time ... Please remember enclosure needs to be at least 1.5-2 times it's total length.
