my bearded dragon has little bugs on it?
i noticed small bugs on my beardie, 2 different kinds. One is very very small, like a grain of sand, and the other is black or very dark brown and about the size of a pin head. The pin head size ones are hiding in the ears, eye area, and the loose skin around the neck and head area. I dont know what to do about them or what they are. A local reptile store told me to buy a spay that they stock for mites and ticks, but I want to know if anyone else has had this problem and what you did to resolve it. Please help!!!! Its making my skin crawl!!
Im sure it is mitea, but what about the larger black bugs?
i would do a completly cage clean out (i use viniger instead of cleaners) and wash him off thoroughly ... becarful using chemicals it can be dangerous for your lizard, most likly its mites
