why is my leopard gecko always sleeping?

My leopard gecko always sleeps even at night, when she is supposed to be awake.she also has this eye that seems to have a larger eyelid than the other one? any explanations?
why does she sleep so much! I have recently given her waxworms, so is that part of it? Oh, bonus question, anyone with a T-rex reptile cavern/hide or a exo Terra Reptile den,
the one that can be put against the side of the tank, is it worth it to buy those particular shelters, do they use them. Hint...

yeah that might be the case waxworms give a Lot of fatt so when you give it to your gecko she will be full and fatt and be lazy and sleep alot like most humans.Dont give her waxworm anymore if you want your problem fix and if you keep giving it to her she will get addictive and wont eat the diets food like meal worms or crickets.but in the condition you are in instead of feeding meal worms try crickets their better and put some calcuim powder for bone strength soo they will be more active.
now about the shelters yes if you buy it they will use it alot.you really dont need them you can use other stuff like the papertowel roll or something but i would really recommend the shelter you buy at the pet stores because they are thicker and better then paper towel roll sooo when you have a heat lamp they will shelter and cool them better and if you use cups or rolls they wont do the trick very well they can also break easily if you the gecko goes on top of it .so i would really recommend the shelter at the petstore but if you dont want to waste money you can make at home with cups or papertowel roll(make sure it is strong enough so that the gecko wont break it)or plastic containers but that will cover soo that you wont be able to see the geckos because they really hate if you can see them in their HIDE.
