Help needed. RES lighting question.?

with this lamp? http://www.petco.com/product/9469/Fluker-s-Clamp-Lamps.aspx
See, the bulb goes in, at the wattages match, but the lamp says to use a Type A bulb, so can I use this bulb with it? It's not gonna start a fire or anyting, right?
Yes, it will fit and not start a fire. They key thing is the ceramic socket- nice and heat resistant. You can get ceramic socket clamp lights at hardware stores for cheaper usually.
The bigger question is: will it help me? It will not, other than offering some heat- which cheaper bulbs will do as well.
Some people teach that UVB will solve all of the problems of a turtle keeper, but no research supports that UVB is necessary for health in a meat-eating water turtle (UVB makes vitamin D3 in the skin, but vitamin D3 is present in meat already)... but it may well help with other aspects.
