who/what organazition can you donate things other than clothes to?

i'm moving out of my mothers house into an apartment with my boyfriend. i have two huge closets full of stuff i haven't touched in at least 2 years. so why haul it to our tiny apartment? i don't know what to do with any of it; and my mother told me i couldn't have a yard sale because its her house blahblahblah. it's stuff like home decor things, throw pillows, framed artwork,throw blankets, purses, toys, karaoke machine, reptile terrariums, random crap, ya know? anyone know a place i could donate it all?

Yes, you can donate it. Some organizations will even come pick it up. Check you area for Goodwill, AmVets, Salvation Army, or local homeless or battered women's shelters.
