can i keep a syrian hamster in a terrarium?
Just wondering... my brother bought a terrarium, and then decided he didnt want a reptile for it... it is wooden, with glass sliding doors and its made of pine. And I would build in platforms, put in ladders and tunnels, cut a big hole in the top and secure mesh for ventilation, and do the same to the sides, Is this a good idea? it is twice the size of her old cage, and i thought she might like some more space.

Yes why not? infact its better than a cage as those Syrian hampsters can escape through the smallest of spaces.
